I love spotting the changing seasons where I live in North Devon from the first snowdrop in February, the ladybird that heralds the first day of Spring, the return of the house martins in April, the bluebells in May and so on, you get the picture! I count myself lucky to have easy access to both coastal trails and the countryside footpaths which meander through rural farmland flanked by ancient Devon hedgerows teaming with wild flowers, birds, butterflies and insects. My husband, an experienced photographer, and I have enjoyed many years walking in the open air in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter taking pictures of little known and remote places around Bideford Bay and Exmoor.
